Diving Liveaboard and National Park Trekking in Patagonia, Argentina

     We offer a diving package liveaboard cruise in one of the most remote places in the world, home of a tremendous amount of natural life both in and out of the water: Patagonia, in the southern part of Argentina.
     Our liveaboard experience in this unspoiled natural wonder can easily be combined with other nature discovery tours in Argentina such as: a glacier and National Park trek in Patagonia, a National Park hike in the northwest part of the country (in Salta, on the fringe of the Andes) or horseback riding with the Gauchos in the stunning pampa.
     Patagonia is home to a great variety of marine and land life and some animals are native to the place and can't be find anywhere else in the world, much like the ecosystem in the famous Galapagos Archipelago.


Diving Liveaboard in Patagonia: The Valdez Peninsula


     From Buenos Aires, you will fly to Trelew in northern Patagonia, where you will be transferred to the vessel S.Y. Silvia, a 13 meter catamaran completely equipped for scuba diving and snorkeling.
     Your destination will be the southern part of the Valdez peninsula and the Golfo Nuevo, where abundant marine life is always spotted. You will sail past the longest sand beaches you have ever seen, some of them crowded with elephant seals, sea lions, cormorants, and hundred of thousands of other sea birds such as seagulls and a rare variety of terns.
     This region is also the home of dolphins and whales, which may be spotted and observed from a distance, although it is not uncommon to hear the whales' songs all the way through a dive! Among the dive sites visited will be two shipwrecks sunk decades ago during storms.
     You will be accommodated in private cabins. The vessel accepts a maximum of 9 passengers plus crew. There are 2 showers and toilets on board as well as a spacious galley. All your meals and drinks are included in the package.

Note: Dry suit available for rental at 40 US$ per day. This cruise is available all year round, weather allowing.
