Welcome to the region of the Bay of Plenty, and Coromandel Islands
in New Zealand, where we
propose you a great Kiwi diving and cruising liveaboard experience...Diving is possible
year round in these waters north of Auckland, your airport of destination. Our special trip will bring you to 4 different islands from one of the best resort area in northern New Zealand: Whangamata and Whakatane. Our trip will cruise and dive the Aldermens Islands and end up in Whitianga. The summer months of December through March are the best months for climate conditions, although the visibility will be at its best in the winter months from July until November, where divers experiment sometimes 50m plus visibility!...The marine life in this region is excellent, and pelagics as well as lobsters are observed on every dive. The trip will bring enthusiast divers to the ship wreck of the tug boat "Taioma" sunk a few years ago and now totally part of the local ecosystem. |

Your vessel the M.V "Macy Gray" caters for a maximum of 8 passengers, accommodated in one double bed and 3 double bunks cabin, with shared facilities. She is fully equipped for high sea cruising and diving, and is skippered by one of the very best skippers of the area. The "Macy Gray" crew was among the logistical team of the America's Cup Kiwi challenge in the Bay of Plenty, and is well known for its professionalism and expertise in marine/diving fields. |
