Situated east off the Tanzanian coast and north of Madagascar is the Seychelles archipelago. Only a handful of the 115 islands are inhabited and those few have deservedly become one of the world's most popular tropical destinations.
The archipelago features world famous white coral sand beaches and huge granite boulders and amazingly clear blue and turquoise waters, which have made it a tropical haven for vacationers and honeymooners.
With time, the Seychelles have become one of the world's dream vacation places, where scuba diving operations have flourished in entertaining an ever growing international diving population.

The Seychelles weather is regulated by two monsoons, both keeping the archipelago windy and the temperatures nice and enjoyable. Nonetheless, one of the monsoons brings wet weather, stronger winds and rain from October to April. The dry season lasts from May to late September or mid-October. The water temperature is usually around 27oC and can peak to 30oC in the hottest months. |
Scuba diving in the Seychelles in an amazing experience as the marine life is abundant and diversified. From shallow water reefs to drastic drop offs, divers will enjoy great visibility, warm water, and sometimes the magic of swimming with big pelagics, which are not rare in the archipelago's waters. Manta rays, humphead "Napoleon" wrasses, sharks, big groupers, and schools of jacks and barracudas are common in the Seychelles.
